This is an example of counter typical media because Lady Gaga does not always dress like the 'typical' or 'average' woman, or how a woman 'should dress. She also sings songs such as 'Edge of Glory' which says about how she does not need a man to do well and become a superstar. Whereas alot of popular songs are related to love or relationships.
