Summer '18 Assessment - Adverts, Magazine & Music Videos

Identify a strength or strengths in your assessment:

I included a lot of social, political and cultural contexts, especially for the Paddington Big Issue. I also described the big issue cover quite well including the big ben in the background. I remembered to include a part of mise-en-scene which improved the description. 

What are the areas you need to improve?

I need to remember to include; camera shots, mise-en-scene, conventional codes, gender age and class, representation – connotations, typography, size of shot and media codes and conventions. I need to remember to include media language. 

What do you need to focus on for your next assessment?

I need to remember to include all the conventions of mise-en-scene and other media codes. I also need to remember to describe the whole scene, as it would improve the overall description and evaluation.
